“ It's
better to study Spanish in a country where it is the official
language because you listen it all the time. For sure, it's difficult
to understand the different accents but we get used to. For
instance, in the streets, taxis drivers speak slowly but the other
people always speaks really quickly and few articulated, which is
very difficult. We can also discover more about Argentina, the
politics, the people but we can't understand the figure of Perón.
Argentina
has a difficult story, it's a very strange country. It seems that it
is a developped country but there are many poors and very poors.
Concerning the food, the meat is very good but there are few
vegetables in the restaurants... The worth is that there is no sauce
for the salads. There is also a phenomenon: El Dulce de Leche, it's
like a candy but say that is considered as an insult to the
Argentinians, so only say 'dulce de leche'.
The
empanadas, the cakes, the toasted, the croissants, everything has ham
and cheese but both are bad.
But
the wine and ice cream are very good, very rich ... Well ... there is
much more to know
because Buenos
Aires is
not really Argentina...”

“Nowadays,
speak more than one language is essential, not only to travel but
also to work. The market wants people that can speak more than one
language, and in this world which is very globalized travel for the
work is something really common for the people who wants to develop
their career. The world knows about this phenomenon: it is possible
to see it in the education. In the 50's and 60's, it was fashion to
learn French. Today, after English, Spanish (or Castillan) is the
language the most frequently chosen for the importance that it will
take in the futur. Especially for us (Brasilians) which are coming
from the unique country in Latin America that doesn't speak Spanish.
Learning Spanish it's also a way to understand the culture of our
Brothers.”
